1. The Government of Nepal has received financing from the Asian Development Bank
(ADB) towards the cost of Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Improvement Project –
Additional Financing. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract
named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
2. Project Implementation Directorate, Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited (“the
Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders, based on post-qualification criteria, for the
construction and completion of the Works as described below:
 The “Works” mainly comprise of Design, Build, Operate, Transfer basis which
shall cover for all the civil, electrical, and mechanical & electronics including all
supply/install of required softwares etc for the complete and proper working of the
SCADA system
